Vegetable Kurma


Very Tasty n Nutritious Kurma...


To Grind 1:

ginger 1 inch
garlic 5 cloves
chillies 4-5 (increase for more spicy)

To Grind 2:

almond 10
coconut 1 small piece (i used coconut milk powder)

carrot 2
beans 20
cauliflower 1/2 head
potato 2
onion 1 large
tomato 1 large
curry leaves few

garam masala 1 tsp
chilli powder 2 tsp
turmeric powder 1 tsp
salt to taste
oil 2 tsp


Chop all the veggies as below.

Grind the ingre under to grind 1 to a smooth paste.

Add oil in a preassure cooker and add the garam masala to it.

Add the chopped vegies to the pan and saute for 2 mins.

Now add the ground chilli garlic paste, chilli pow, turmeric pow and salt.

Stir and close the lid of the preassure cooker and cook for 2 or 3 whistle.

Grind the ingre under to grind 2 to a smooth paste.

Once the pressure has come down. remove the lid.

Add the ground coconut paste to the cooked veggies.

Mix well and bring it to a boil. Add the curry leaves and transfer it to a serving bowl.

Serve hot with steamed rice or hot roti.
