Fruity Oats Smoothie

This smoothie may not be attractive by the looks or that appetizing but its the best and healthiest drink i have ever had. All kind of goodness in just one glass. I have this every morning for the breakfast, this keeps me filled till my lunch and keeps the hunger at bay for a long time. The main advantage in this smoothie is its totally sugar free which makes it more healthier... Here we go to the goodness recipe.



Ingredients:

4 dates pitted
1 prune pitted
4 almonds soaked overnight
1/2 cup oats powdered
1 tbsp of powdered flax seed
1/2 cup yogurt
1 cup milk
a dash of cinnamon
any fruit of ur choice (eg: apple, banana, strawberry, etc)

Method:

* Almonds: Soak the almonds over night or add water and microwave for 1 min. I soak 1 cup of almonds for 10 hours, drain and store in the fridge.
* Dates: Soak over night in hot water or add with water and microwave for 1 min.
* Prunes: Soak it overnight with the dates.
* Oats: Add to the blender and make it to a fine powder, you may dry roast it if u prefer.
* Flax seed: I used my blender to make the seeds into a powder.
* Add all the ingredients to the blender or hand blender and blend it till smooth.
* Serve chilled, Enjoy the goodness.
