Chocolate Cups With Strawberry Jello Mousse

Wish everyone a lovely Valentines Day... and here i am with a easy no bake dessert which will be a treat to your eyes, mouth and heart...

TBH this is the first trial for me playing with chocolate... yesterday i had the urge to make something special for this special day but didn't have any specific idea.
Then i remembered that i had some chocolate bars in the fridge so i made some chocolate cups with my silicon rose molds... Even though i made the cups and they came out great i still didn't have any idea of what to make for the filling.

Was just thinking about the color combination and which goes well with chocolate... Ta Da... strawberry will go well with chocolate as well as valentines day...
Made some Jello Mousse and piped it into the cups (not to mention that i was new to piping too :D )
They were looking so cute and tasted divine...

Lets get in to the recipe...

Ingredients:

For The Cup

Compound Chocolate Melted in a double boiler or Microwave
Silicon cup molds

Method for Chocolate Cups

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in microwave and pour 1 tbsp of melted chocolate in each silicon molds, using a brush or back of a spoon spread the melted chocolate till the top tip of the molds, make sure the mold is covered fully without any gaps.

Leave the molds in the fridge for them to set completely, After an hour the chocolate will be nicely set and hard.
Now remove the chocolate cups from the molds. and store them in the fridge till use.

For The Mousse

3 oz strawberry jello
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup ice cold water
250 ml whipping cream whipped till stiff

Method For The Mousse

Boil 1cup of water and mix the jello pack with it, then mix in the ice cold water and set it aside.
Now add the cold whipping cream to a large mixing bowl and start whipping.
Whip the cream till you get stiff whipped cream.

Now check on the jello mixture, if the mixture is still hot (keep the whipped cream in the fridge till the jello is cooled) then let it sit for more time or you can keep it in the fridge for 10 - 15 mins, but please keep an eye on it. ( if the jello sets completely then it cannot be mixed with with the whipped cream.)

Once the jello is cooled completely add it to the whipped cream and mix it well to combine both.
Keep it in the fridge till nice and thick so that it will be easy to pipe it.
Take the mixture out and add it to the piping bag and fill in the chocolate cups.
Serve chilled... Enjoy
