Garlic Wheat Kulcha

Kulcha is the instant form of Naan...  As Naan is made with yeast the dough has to rested till the dough rises but for kulcha no such waiting time needed as there is no yeast in it.

Kulcha Is made with wheat which makes it more healthier version.  Here I am giving the recipe for garlic kulcha which will surely be a Treat for all garlic lovers...

Let's get to the recipe...

Dry Ingredients

Wheat flour 2 cups
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Minced garlic 3 tbsp or as per taste
Finely chopped coriander leaves 1/4 cup
Sugar 3/4 tbsp
Salt to taste

Wet Ingredients

Oil 4 tbsp + for smearing
Ghee 1 tbsp
Yoghurt 4 tbsp

Method

In a large mixing bowl mix all the dry ingredients togather.
Now add the wet ingredients to it and mix well then add enough water and keep kneading till the dough is soft and pliable.

Remove from the bowl and place in a floured surface and knead well for few mins( this helps the gluten formation)

Smear some oil on the dough and let it rest for an hour or more.
Now take a small lemon size ball from the dough and roll it into small and thin circles  using a rolling pin.

Meanwhile heat a tawa to medium heat and place the circle on the pan and smear with some oil on top and sides.

Once you see the bubbles puffing on the surface, turn to the other side and cook for another minute or so.

Serve hot with your favorite dal or gravy...
I served with my green chicken and some onion rings.
