Green Chicken


The earlier post GUESS... Was the signature dish of my sister and one of my mom's favorite too... 
This green chicken is very flavorful and juicy kinda chicken...

Mint 1 large bunch
Corriander leaves 1 bunch
Green chillies 8-10(adjust to taste) 
Ginger 1" piece
Garlic 10 cloves
Yogurt 2 tbsp
Salt to taste


Chicken 1kg cut into bite size
Butter 100 gms 


Wash all ingredients under "TO GRIND" and grind to a fine paste. 
Marinate the chicken pieces in this green mixture overnight or at least for 2 hours. 

Place the butter in a pan ( a small tip to share here...  Always add the butter to the pan and then place the pan in heat or add few drops of oil with the butter so that the butter doesn't get burnt before melting) and add the marinated chicken pieces to the butter and let it cook nicely till all the juices from marinade is dry. 

Sprinkle with some fresh Corriander leaves and some lemon juice. 
Serve hot with roti or rice...
