Teriyaki Sticky Chicken

I was never a big fan of sticky chicken until i tried this recipe...
This is one of the simplest and tastiest sticky chicken i have ever had, This may be an apt dish for the busy weekday dinners. Just throw everything together and let it sit in the fridge till you use it... within few mins you ll be ready for the dinner.

Just look at the color of the chicken... isn't it tempting?
The color comes from the caramalization of the sugar and soya sauce.
Can't wait to share the recipe....
Lets get going.

Ingredients

12 boneless skinless chicken thighs (I used 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts)

2 tablespoon oil
3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup soy sauce
6 tablespoons cider vinegar
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 teaspoon minced garlic

1/4 teaspoon pepper
Salt to taste

Method

In a large bowl, combine the sugar, soy sauce, cider vinegar, ginger, garlic and pepper.
Pour the mixture over chicken.
In non stick pan pour some oil and place the chicken, simmer and let the chicken cook in the marinade itself ( no need to add water)
Once in a while keep flipping the chicken pieces so that they don't get burnt and get cooked evenly.
Cook till the juices are fully absorbed and the chicken is fully cooked and sticky

Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges... Enjoy
