Vannila Panna Cotta

One of the creamiest and the most easiest panna cotta recipe which can be done in half an hours max but the crucial part is waiting...LOL
This is a no fail recipe and has been done by me several times... i dont even use gelatin in this recipe. i always replace gelatin with Agar Agar.


Ingredients

1 cup of cream (any kind that you can pour should do) 
1 cup of milk (full fat works best) 
1/3 cup of sugar, heaped 
1 tsp vanilla extract 
1 tsp of gelatin or 5 gm agar agar 
1/4 cup of boiling water 

Method

Pour the cream and milk into a pan.
Add the vanilla extract to the cream mixture.
Bring this mixture to a boil and add the sugar.
Mix well and simmer until the sugar dissolves. 
Remove from fire, strain, and set side.

Bring 1/4 cup water to a boil and add the gelatin, for agar agar add it to water and bring to boil and fully dissolved.  
Stir until combined with no traces.
Add the gelatin/agar agar mixture to the strained cream mixture and mix well. 

Pour this mixture into molds, small cups, ramekins, a pudding dish, anything that takes your fancy. 
Let it cool completely and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.

While serving if you wish to unmould and serve, place the mould in hot water for few mins and invert it to the plate and serve with any topping of your wish.

Panna Cotta can be eaten just like that but any topping will make it much better.
