Paneer is an important ingredient in my kitchen... we all love paneer in any form. anything that deals with paneer will always be on my favorite side. Not only a tasty ingredient but also a healthy one... almost all of my grocery list will contain paneer and capsicum in it. This dish is quiet easy to make and can be enjoyed alot. Most of the dhaba's will be making this in the same way...
So why are we waiting for... Lets get into the recipe...
Ingredients
Paneer 1 cup cubed
Onion 2 cubed
Tomato 1 cubed
Capsicum 1 cubed
Tomato puree or tomato sauce 1/4 cup
Chilli powder 1 tbsp (adjust to your taste)
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Dried methi leaves 1 tbsp crushed
Oil for seasoning
Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
Method
In a pan add the oil and ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes and then add the cubed onion, tomato, capsicum and paneer and toss them till they are semi cooked, remove them from heat and keep aside.
Now add the tomato puree to the pan with little water, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt, keep mixing till the raw smell goes.
Once the raw smell turns into aroma add the cubed veggies and paneer to the tomato puree mixture and mix well till everything is combined.
Finally crush the dried methi leaves over the mixture and give it a last stir.
Serve hot with roti.
