Basic Cake With A Tangy Flavor... This may be the simplest cake but one of the most flavourful cake...
For sure your house will be smelling like an orange factory. The fresh orange juice and zest will do magic to your senses.
Let's jump into the world of orangy orange...
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp butter or olive oil
milk 1/2 cup
1 cup fresh orange juice
2 egg
1 1/2 cup flour ( i use 1 cup wheat and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour)
3/4 - 1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 big orange peel grated(don't avoid as this gives a wonderful flavour to ur cake)

Method
Combine the egg and oil in a large mixing bowl and beat for a minute.
Add the sugar to it and mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
Now add the orange juice along with the grated orange peel and mix.
Next, add the flour to the wet ingredients and mix well, the batter will be thick.
Add in the 1/2 cup milk to make the batter pourable consistency.
Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180C.
Prepare an 8" can pan by rubbing butter and then dusting it with flour.
Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 30 to 40 mins in a preheated oven.
Remove and let cool on a wire rack. Cut n serve after completely cooled.

when do you add the OJ?
