Very Healthy Steamed Dumplings...
Combine all the ingredients for the dough into a soft ball.
Then take a small piece from the dough and roll it in to a 1 inch thick roll. (like below)
Then cut it into two finger thick pieces.
Use ur rolling pin and make a small rounds. (i used my roti maker to make this)
Once the sutffing is completely cooled take a spoon of stuffing in the ring.
Fold the round into half and seal the ends.
Join the ends like this.
These are few other methods of folding the momo.
Once the packing has done, steam the momos (i used my electric rice cookers steamer for this) for 10 to 12 mins.
Enjoy the steamed dumplings with any sauce of ur wish...
Ingredients:
For Stuffing:
onion 1
chilli 2 - 3
garlic 4 cloves
carrots 1 large
cabbage 1/4 head
paneer 1/2 cup crumbled or minced meat of ur choice
For Dough:
all purpose flour 2 cup
baking pow 1 tsp
salt to taste
Method:
Mince all the veggies very finely( if u hav food processor use it)
Add a tsp of oil in a pan and add all the minced veggies in the pan with required salt.
Fry for few mins or till the water in the veggies have evaporated.
Then add the crumbled paneer to the mixture and mix well.
Check the mixture for taste.
