Dalgona Coffee

I know am late to the party but i have a twist to this regular dalgona coffee which takes this to the next level.
Normally the dalgona coffee is bland as the milk we add has nothing to it. It actually looks pretty but not many liked it as it only has the coffee taste when completely mixed and by mixing the treat to the eyes is lost.

Check out this full recipe to find the twist that takes it to next level. By this small addition the coffee tasted amazing and almost like a coffee shop level.
PS: I have started to use my DSLR manual mode to click pictures 😬 hope they aren't bad 🤞🏼.

INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp instant coffee powder
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp warm water
1/4 tsp vanilla essence (optional)

1 cups of milk (hot or cold)
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

1 tsp cocoa powder

METHOD

• In a large bowl add the coffee powder, sugar and water all equal amount. The vanilla essence (if using). The amount can be doubled or tripled easily.
• Using a whisk start whipping the mixture, it should become lighter and foamy within 2 mins of whipping.
• Whip until nice and thick, this mixture can be stored in an airtight container for future uses.
• You can either use hot or cold milk.
• Add the milk sugar and vanilla essence to the serving glass and mix until the sugar dissolves.
• Top the milk with the coffee mixture.
• Sprinkle with some cocoa powder on top for the slight chocolate flavour and presentation too.
• This can either be mixed slightly to have that dalgona coffee mixed or drink half of the milk with the beautiful vanilla flavour and mix the coffee in later.
• Enjoy it hot or cold. While cold it tasted like frappe from Starbucks.
