Nowadays most of us are becoming health cautious and started to avoid the processed food in our food and the most avoided ingredient and the most addicted ingredient should be the sugar.

Sugar in any form has become a big no no to many of us including me. But if you have a 24x7 active sweet tooth like me then this recipe is for you. It satisfies the sweet craving and at the same time you dont need to worry about the sugar present in it.
The best part is this can be made within no time and easy to be made in large batches too. Hope you try it and have a healthier craving satisfier 😬.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup rolled oats
3 cardamom pods
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1/2 cup peanuts
1/4 cup cashews
10 soft prunes or dates
1 tsp ghee (optional)
1-2 tbsp jaggery (optional)

METHOD

Add 1/2 tsp ghee (if using) to a pan and along with it add the oats and cardamom pods and roast it until the oats is aromatic and lightly browned. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan add 1/2 tsp ghee (if using), add the peanuts and cashews. Roast till the nuts are golden brown in colour. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan add the sesame seeds and roast for a minute or until its golden brown in color. Remove and set aside.

To a blender add the oats, cardamom and sesame seeds and blend it to a coarse powder. Transfer to a mixing bowl.

In the same blender add the peanuts and cashews, blend it to a coarse powder. Open the blender and add the prunes or dates to it and run the blender for a minute or until the prunes are smashed and the mixture becomes a sticky mass.

Transfer this paste to the mixing bowl with oats (add the jaggery now if using) and start kneading it until the dry oats powder has combined well and no more dry powder is left.

Now take a small lemon size ball of the mixture and start rolling it into ladoos.

Thats it the healthy protein & fiber rich ladoos are ready to be served.
This ladoos can be stored in the refrigerator for a week.

Enjoy!!!
