Simple French Toast

Breakfast... One meal of the day thats so important to gain all the energy for most part of our day. When it comes to the school going kids parents are more concerned about the quality of the food that they eat before leaving to school. 
The food should be tasty and kids approved and at the same time it should be a healthy option to satisfy the mind of the parent. This is that kind of kid and mom approved. The juicy and custardy taste is loved by most kids and the ingredients make a healthy choice for moms. 

As an extra added bonus this french toast can be made in a big batch and stored in the fridge. Just pop it in a toaster to heat up in the morning and relax in the school mornings. Atleast 1 thing less to stress about in the busy mornings. 
INGREDIENTS

6 slices of bread
3 eggs
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup milk
1 pinch of salt
1 tbsp oil/ghee/butter

METHOD

In a deep pan or plate add in the sugar, vanilla extract, milk, eggs and salt.

Give this mixture a nice mix until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Heat a pan and smear the ghee or butter in the pan and while the pan is heating dip a bread slice in the egg mixture and let it soak for 20 secs on each side. 

Place the soaked bread on the heated pan and cook on both sides until its golden brown in color. 

Remove from pan and serve it warm with some fruits or syrup. 

This can be pre made and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
